Detailed Description
This course aimed at learners who are confident at reading and writer in Japanese script including up to about 150 basic Kanjis. Learners are expected to use the plain form of verbs, adjectives and nouns confidently in several syntaxes.
The course covers how to express your guess, the use of simile, how to pass ‘hearsay’ information, further study into the purpose expressions and reason clauses, to imply your gratitude for someone’s action, to describe the change in your routine and ability to do something etc. Also, you will be introduced to honorific expressions ‘Keigo’.
You will also learn approximatly 60 new Kanjis from a textbook and others from external sources. There will be many opportunities for real news article etc.
Towards the end of the course, you will learn to navigate the degrees of certainty when you state something, supporting your statement with appropriate choice of reason and purpose, and be equipped with more discussion skills.
