This three part online course explores how patient and carer experience can drive improvements in healthcare quality, safety and equity.

Learning from major healthcare inquiries and reviews has shown that harm can occur when the patient voice is not fully heard. This course responds to a clear need across the NHS to ensure that the experiences, perspectives and insights of patients and carers are actively sought, understood and used to improve care.
The course is designed for:
• Front line clinicians
• Service and commissioning managers
• Staff working in PALS, complaints and patient experience teams
Participants will develop practical approaches to ensuring that patient and carer voices inform safe, equitable and high quality care.
