Italian Level 3 Intermediate
This course is ideal for students who already have a solid foundation in Italian and are ready to take the next step towards greater fluency and spontaneity.
The focus remains on communicating in real-life situations, while consolidating and expanding grammar and vocabulary through engaging and practical topics. You’ll revisit both the present and past tenses — especially the passato prossimo — and begin to explore a new tense, the imperfetto.
You’ll gradually learn how to use these two past tenses together to describe people, places, and events in a more precise and natural way.
You’ll also build confidence using reflexive verbs in the past, direct and indirect pronouns, and expressing preferences and feelings with verbs like piacere. As the course progresses, we’ll introduce the conditional tense to help you make polite requests and talk about imagined or hypothetical situations in a friendly and relaxed way.
Lessons are interactive and varied, with a balance of speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities. You’ll take part in role plays, dialogues, games, that give you the chance to practise what you've learned in enjoyable and meaningful ways.
Above all, this is a friendly and supportive learning environment where you’re encouraged to speak, try things out, and learn from your mistakes. You’ll be guided step by step as you develop your skills and begin to speak more freely and confidently.
