Detailed Description
Our 11th Inclusion Health Day will focus on the challenges faced when addressing the health and support needs of people in the Inclusion Health groups. We will hear from a wide range of speakers, including those with lived experience, those undertaking research, and those designing and delivering services.
We will hear how the existing evidence can be brought together and new data used to spread good practice, how services are improving through evaluation and latest service developments in the Inclusion Health field.
The day will be of interest to everyone who is concerned with the health of people who are homeless, Gypsies and Travellers, vulnerable migrants and sex workers, and is particularly aimed at healthcare, support, and key workers, service managers, planners and commissioners.
This event, produced in collaboration with Pathway and the Faculty of Homeless and Inclusion Health, provides an excellent learning and networking opportunity, and our ten previous Inclusion Health CPD days have been highly evaluated by attendees.
Our programme will include a range of topics and presenters to stimulate reflection, discussion and progress in Inclusion Health.
With input from recognised leaders in their fields, and experts by experience, delegates will have time for discussion, reflection and networking.
Topics will include:
· Designing Inclusion Health services
· Overcoming challenges
· Elements of a successful business case
· Undertaking research
· Inclusion Health Education
The course fee of £65 will include registration, refreshments and certification for 6 hours CPD activity. Refreshments include mid-morning tea and coffee, a light lunch, and mid-afternoon tea, coffee and biscuits.
The Inclusion Health Day will be held at the University of Brighton Falmer Campus.
