The Supreme Court is the final court of appeal in the UK for civil cases, and for criminal cases from England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It hears cases of the greatest public or constitutional importance affecting the whole population.
You will view the ‘hand down’ of judgments, a summary of the Court’s decisions given by the Supreme Court Justices. There will then be a guided tour covering the history, role and work of the Court.
The group will depart from campus and travel via bus to London. If you would like to meet them there please write this in the ‘other requirements’ section of the questionnaire when you book or contact FDNstudents@sussex.ac.uk
The group leader will have your tickets so there is no need to collect anything from the office.
